What clbpass is
clbpass is a mobile and web application that helps users prepare for the TEF Canada and TCF Canada French language proficiency exams.
We help you prepare. We don't administer the exams. We don't issue official scores.
We are independent of CCLB, IRCC, Le Français des Affaires (TEF), and France Éducation International (TCF).
Who can use clbpass
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction — whichever is higher.
By using clbpass you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
Your account
You're responsible for everything that happens on your account. Don't share your login. If something looks wrong, tell us.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — scraping, model extraction, sharing premium content, or harming other users.
What you can and can't do
You can use clbpass for personal, non-commercial TEF/TCF preparation.
You can't
- Resell, redistribute, or republish clbpass content
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the app
- Use clbpass content or AI outputs to train competing models
- Share paid content with non-paying users
- Use clbpass to harm, harass, defraud, or deceive others
- Submit content that infringes someone else's rights
AI-generated content & accuracy
Our AI grades practice writing and speaking and predicts your CLB score. These are estimates designed to help you prepare — not official assessments.
We target ±0.5 CLB of your real test score. We do not warrant specific outcomes.
Your real score depends on test-day performance, continued practice, test conditions, and factors outside our control.
Pricing, subscriptions & refunds
We offer monthly subscriptions, lifetime purchases, and founder pre-orders (limited to the first 100 candidates).
- Prices in USD unless stated otherwise.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancel anytime in settings, the App Store, or the Play Store.
Intellectual property
We own clbpass — the app, content, grading system, branding. You get a limited, non-transferable license to use it.
You own your submissions (writing + voice). You grant us a license to grade you, improve the platform, and improve the AI in anonymized, aggregated form. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, clbpass is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including decisions you make based on clbpass output.
Total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We do not guarantee you will pass the TEF or TCF. We do not guarantee any immigration or citizenship outcome.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. New versions are posted with a new date at the top. Material changes get an email to your account.
